City of Menlo Park - Apply for New Below-Market-Rate Units

The City of Menlo Park's Below Market Rate Housing Program is accepting applications through May 13. Visit the website to learn more about their guidelines, including income requirements, and access their application.

Ecumenical Hunger Program

The EHP has food distribution Monday - Thursday from 10 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM - 5 PM.

Hot meals are offered, as well. Contact them for details.

While you're there, inquire about grocery and infant supply assistance, as well as available clothing, furniture, and other necessities.

Free Meals at the EPA Library

Monday - Friday from 3:15-3:45PM, adults and youth can get free meals at the EPA Library. See flyer for details.

Free Public WiFi from San Mateo County

The County of San Mateo has numerous free WiFi access points, including several in East Palo Alto. Check out their site to learn how to find and connect to the nearest hotspot.

Hope Hangar Free Groceries & Clothing Pantry

Hope Hangar (Mountain View) offers free groceries and clothing. Stop by the first and third Monday of each month, from 6PM - 8PM. See flyer for location.

Pet Food Bank

Residents of San Mateo County who are experiencing financial hardship can apply for assistance with feeding up to four pets through the Peninsula Humane Society and SPCA. See flyer for details and use link to register.

SamTrans - EPX Bus Route

Route EPX is a new express route offering weekday service for a standard fare of $2.25 ($2.05 with Clipper) between East Palo Alto and San Bruno BART taking advantage of the Highway 101 Express Lanes, with four trips to downtown San Francisco during morning and evening rush hours.

SamTrans - Ride Plus Program

SamTrans is now operating an on-demand ride program servicing East Palo Alto and the Belle Haven neighborhood of Menlo Park. Rides can be scheduled via an app or telephone. Check out their site for details.
